As can be seen the strokes have quite a minimal social media presence mainly promoting their band's music and shows
However if you scroll through their band's instagram it also has more personal views of the band as one might see on their personal accounts and this is what I have attempted to do with my social media age, keeping a more personal feel.

The Strokes' Website is particularly intriguing as It is laid out as if still working under web 1.0. Being only a visual website in which the consumer cannot participate.
What I love most about their website is the use of early 2000s computer graphics to add a sense of nostalgia. For a band that grew exponentially during Y2K, it is understandable that they would want to capitalise on this nostalgia and in doing so, they create an entertaining and interactive site.
