I have decided to add diegetic/non diegetic music into my film.

In the scene when TAI gets into the lift and later the train carriage I will have her wearing headphones and because of this I want to add music that begins as diegetic and then clears out so that the audience can hear the music just as clearly as the character TAI does.

The artist that I would like to use for this is either Mitski or Childish Gambino. This is because either style of music while very different has they key factors of the song I am wanting to add in. Mitski manages to convey a sense of helplessness, hopelessness and anger all within the confines of a 2 and a half minute song. Childish Gambino's music is full of pounding emotion that is impossible to ignore and builds constantly until the final blow of the song hits.
